This website is meant to strengthen communication with the members of CTK First Nations and to build general public awareness of CTK First Nations values and identity.


VISION STATEMENT

Carry the Kettle First Nation will be a self-sufficient, self-determined, and self-governed nation; we envision a socially cohesive community with strong adherence to our cultural and traditional practices, the maintenance and preservation ofour language, and the protection and enhancement of our Treaty rights.

MISSION STATEMENT

CTK First Nation respects the Treaty covenants our forefathers made with the Crown; we respect the connection to our land because it influences our relationship to it and to each other.

CTK First Nation is dedicated to providing a healthy lifestyle through the promotion of mutual respect and responsibility, and respect for the traditions, values, and principles of the Nakoda people.

CTK First Nation is committed to supporting the education as a means of developing the human capital needed to manage our political, economic and social institutions.

CTK First Nation will work towards the creation of greater economic self-sufficiency through the expansion of our economic development capabilities and through business ownership and management.

The CTK Band Administration office is located approximately 18 kilometers south of Sintaluta.

Band Membership Meeting re: CTK Band Farm

CTK Band Hall from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Best Western Seven Oaks in Regina from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm

  • Proposal to substantially increase revenue generated from selected TLE lands
  • At the conclusion of the presentation, the band members will be asked to 'approve' or 'disapprove' the band farm proposal by way of a VOTE!

Notice of Nomination Meeting
Monday, January 18th, 2010

Monday, February 15th, 2010, beginning 1:00 p.m. and lasting for at least three hours, at the CTK Band Hall, for the purpose of nominating candidates for the positions of Chief and Councillors for the next ensuring term.  There are Six (6) councillor positions and one position for Chief available.  The election will be held at the CTK Band Hall on Monday, March 29, 2010.

Per Capita Distribution UPDATE

Two NEW forms will have to be submitted for the December 2009 P.C.D., because the $1,500.00 cheque was split into two cheques 1) $1000 (dated December 10th, 2009) & 2) $500 (post dated for January 1st, 2010).  Please resubmit your forms.  They can be found under the MEMBERSHIP DEPARTMENT  ie) 1000-directdeposit-dec09, 500-directdeposit-dec09, or 1000-mailout-dec09, 500-mailout-dec09.  Two forms must be sent, along with two pieces of ID.
